Max Dawson

Max was converted to Christ by a co-worker at the General Motors plant in Indianapolis, Indiana where he worked in 1969. He was baptized by Mike Willis at the Mooresville church. He began preaching in the spring of 1970 and entered full-time work in the fall of 1970 at Noblesville, IN (1970-1973) and later moved to Kokomo, IN (1973-1978). Since 1978 has been with the Dowlen Road Church of Christ in Beaumont, TX. Has served as an elder since 1986. Has made eight extended preaching trips to South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Botswana to train preachers. Authored “Kingdom Leaders,” a leadership training workbook. Has conducted more than 3,500 hour-long Bible talk broadcasts on radio from 1979-2014.

Aaron joined us here at the Dowlen Road congregation after spending over two decades preaching in the Midwest (Indiana, Ohio and Michigan). Aaron was born and raised in Indianapolis, and is a graduate of Purdue University.
He has been married to his wife, Anna, since 1996 and they have six children, two of which are married. Anna and Aaron are now very happy grandparents!
Aaron has a passion for teaching both publicly and in personal studies. He also has made it a priority to train people as shepherd leaders in the kingdom of heaven.

Reuben Prevost

Reuben Prevost was born in Southeast Texas in 1991. He grew up in Beaumont and attended the Dowlen Road Church of Christ during his childhood.
Reuben was first introduced to preaching in 2007 when he worked with the Dowlen Road congregation as a summer trainee. He continued to preach on a fill-in basis throughout his high-school and college years. While in college, he met his wife, Ruth, and they were married in 2018. They had their first child in 2020.
After college, Reuben began preaching full-time with the Kleinwood Church of Christ in Spring, TX. He spent almost two years learning to preach and study in their preacher training program and is grateful for his time there.
After training at the Kleinwood Church, Reuben returned to the Dowlen Road congregation as a full time preacher. He’s been here since 2019.
