Growing up I always enjoyed Bible trivia. I remember vividly playing Bible trivia with my family. I didn’t know a lot of the answers, but it was a great way to learn.
I still enjoy Bible trivia. So today I would like to play Bible trivia. I recently finished marking the New Testament. If you would like information about effective Bible marking, check out our website at www.dowlenroad.com. Kris Emerson has some great material on it.
As I finished up the book of 2 Corinthians, I came across an interesting statement.
In the apostle Paul spoke about Titus. The text says this…”But thanks be to God who puts the same earnestness on your behalf in the heart of Titus. For he not only accepted our appeal, but being himself very earnest, he has gone to you of his own accord.”
Then in there is an interesting reference to another brother. Paul said, “We have sent along with him the brother whose fame in the things of the gospel has spread through all the churches.”
Then in Paul said, “I urged Titus to go and I sent the brother with him…”
So the question is this: Who was this famous brother?
THE FINAL WORD
We will let brother Max give us the answer to this interesting question next Monday.
Playing Bible trivia throughout my childhood was a lot of fun. It’s great to be able to answer Bible trivia questions. But the Bible is not a book to find trivia questions. It is the word of God!
Therefore, we need to be reading our Bibles so we can hear from God. We need to be reading our Bibles so we can become more like Christ. We need to read our Bibles so we can add to our faith. We need to read our Bibles so we can remember the great hope we have of eternity with our Savior!
Blessings to you my dear friends,
